Shifting cable size?
Are you using a 6400 series or a 4300 series shifting cable on your boat?
The easy way to tell is by noting the thread size on the end of the cable where it threads into the clevis just before the shifting lever on the engine. Series 6400 cables have 5/16” threads and 4300 series have ¼” threads”. |
