Spare Engine
I think I did pretty good for $300 (CAD). A couple months ago I picked up a spare engine. I just took a closer look / disassembled a few items.
Most of the 'goodies' seem to be near-new. 1972 block MMI manifold New upgraded alternator New coil Ignitor EI Appears to be a new carb Indigo PCV valve MMI FWC kit Also a partial gasket set, part of the kit to allow hand cranking with the FWC, MMI manual ... and a few other assorted parts. It came with instrument panel, control cables, Racor fuel filter, etc. Apparently it was running in November. I'm thinking the FWC is going on my engine (better than what I have) as well as the EI, and maybe the carb. I'll post some pictures up shortly.
