Valve Guide Removal
I am going to have my block cleaned and tested before continuing with the rebuild. Is it necessary to remove the valve guides before having this done. I have noticed that you recommend removing the cam bearing, however, I can not find any mention of the valve guides.
Thanks, Zack |

Zack,
We never remove the valve guides unless to replace them. We replace them if they are damaged or worn in excess of .004" stem to guide clearance. Regards, Don |
