    Shifting Lever Wanted

Anyone have an extra shifting lever for sale?

Do you mean an extension for a shift lever, or a whole shift lever assembly? If the former, I just fitted an old manual bilge pump handle over the shift lever and tapped two holes in it to accept a pair of threaded bolts to clamp it to the shift lever.

Our gracious and benevolent host, Moyer Marine, of course sells new shift levers, so there's always that option.

I have the complete shifting assembly (sans cable) purchased as NOS from, I forget where. I did not use it, as I was able to tighten up my exiting one. I will send you a photo when I get home the first week of Aug if you like, let me know.

Ideally, I would prefer the whole shifting lever as appearing in the catalogue as Product No. - OREV_14_175. My cable attaches at the bottom of the lever which unfortunately snapped off. While I can modify another piece of metal or reverse the current lever I hope to find a replacement.

Go to this page and scroll a little more than halfway down.

              You'll see this:

I believe that's the part we're talking about.

Where are you located? I have a leftover original one (not the newer Moyer split design).
