solenoid solenoid
I was having a problem where the starter would not seem to get enough voltage to fully engage, even with topped off batteries. I have solved a similar issue with an old Porsche and my wife's old Accord with a "solenoid for the solenoid". I hooked this up yesterday and problem solved
The start button closes the relay in the photo which then supplies the solenoid with plenty of current to pull in and engage. |

Whoa!
Uh - how about a little photo downsizing?
