This post is directed toward Don and company. I prefer to support Moyer Marine over other vendors, when ordering parts. I find MMI costs to be fair and I have allegiance to this business, however I find the shipping rates a bit inflexible. I needed an impeller and the cost to get a 3 day expedited was almost as much as the part itself. Considering the weight, it would be nice to have more options in the shipping department. I had to order the part off of Fleabay with expedited shipping at around 5.00....Anyway, I'm just writing this in order to keep my dollars going to MMI in the future.....cheers!

Thr problem with shipping rates seems to be the insurance. UPS is steadily climbing and they are no longer a bargain. Parcel post is cheaper but the insurance issue remains. What most of us do is keep a running "to order" list so that when we do call in an order it is large enough to spread the shipping costs over many items. You can always stand to order extra filters and such to keep as spares.
