Zenith 68 docs
FYI
I found some interesting service and parts docs for Zenith 68 carburetor at the following urls. These apply to the carb as used on a Gravely tractor, but the dates are right (1962, 1967-76) for the earlier (4 screw) version, I think. Use with discretion http://www.oldgravelys.net/pdf/Zenith_68_Series.pdf http://www.oldgravelys.net/docs/walkers/#CARB http://www.oldgravelys.net/pdf/Zenith_68_Drawing.pdf |

Thanks! Great stuff there. Makes me glad I retired the aged original carb and bought a new one -- plenty of opportunities for someone in the past to have caused some micro damage, or simply years of wear and tear. Maybe I had troubles with fuel leaking into the intake throat after my rebuild simply because the float lever was worn, for example. Furthermore the drawing of how the floats should sit is not the same as what I could achieve in that old carb, probably due to past tinkering with the angles. Anyway, the new carb works great, and these documents help to explain how a Zenith carb works (good supplement to Don's notes and manual).
