Water
I have t34c and am in the process of beginning to refit the boat. Over the winter she suffered a bilge pump failure and fresh water got into the crankcase through the transmission access panel - as was evident by the tan scum on on some of the visible parts in the trans. It does not appear that any water got into the cylinder but I dumped Marvel Mystery Oil down each spark plug hole. I also added to about 3 quarts of oil to the crankcase.
I was planning on changing the oil the three times as suggested in an earlier thread. Is there anything else I should be doing before I attempt to turn the motor over? Thanks |

Replace spark plugs and try spraying a little ether (starting fluid) on the air intake when starting up.
Good luck. |
