    Glossary Section

I think the Forum needs a glossary. It took me forever to figure out what WOT meant.

FWIW, a glossary is not a bad idea, IMHO. From various threads I have come across:
WOT = 'Wide open throttle' ???
TDC = 'Top dead center' regarding the flywheel position while setting ignition timing???
There must be a couple of others that are commonly used I am missing.

You mean like YMMV or IRMV?
      Or our all-time favorite... "UHS"

Should we disclose what they represent or let the guessing percolate for a while?

PO, OP, OPSS, ABYC, JOSO, RWC, FWC, MMI, MMO, EI

and two of my personal faves, DFH and BWIWITBBI.

Okay, here are the last two:
        DFH = Divorce from Hell
BWIWITBBI = Back when I was in the boat building industry

            Acronyms

The problem with acronyms is they can have multiple meanings.
YMMV, can also mean 'you make me vomit'
How is Don't Ask Me How I Know This abbreviated? DAMHIKT stands for Don't Ask Me How I Know This. DAMHIKT is defined as Don't Ask Me How I Know This somewhat frequently.

SWMBO could be a 'single white male body odor' but that is not what we usually mean by it.

The only place I've seen it is on the Yahoo Catalina 30 forum, believe it's unique to them like the UHS or MMO is here.

                    I like this thread...it's funny.

I hope someday Don will compile a book with all the advice members have made on different problems of the A4, and how to fix them… I would buy one in a heart beat. I have learned so much about the A4 over the past year from members. This forum is akin to having a private work shop with hundreds of expert mechanics. This forum, and it’s members are the only source of advice I trust when it comes to my A4.

IHSDWCABWATAMHMODPOTA4AHTFT…Now how would you pronounce that?
