    FREE Atomic 4 engine PROJECT

    Hey gang -

So I'm in the process of shedding weight. That is, getting rid of a lot of the excess clutter and STUFF that I've accumulated over the past 10+ years. My wife and I are planning on downsizing and even if we weren't, I just have too much junk jamming up my workshop.

I have this crusty A4 that was given to me for free five years ago. I've squirted a mess of Kroil into the cylinders now and then, but other that, it's been sitting in a corner of my shop ever since I brought it home.

It is now FREE to whoever wants to come and get it.

The story was that it came from a Catalina that went down in the slip. I don't know how long the engine was submerged, but as you can see it's pretty crusty and gunky.

Given how solid these little bulldogs are, I've always thought that it would be possible to resurrect this one - or at the very least, cannibalize it for parts.

It's essentially an entire, complete engine. I never cataloged everything that came with it, but it's pretty much all there - including two carburetors and two coils, the starter and alternator and some other miscellaneous bits and pieces.

It is at my home in Short Pump, Virginia (far western Henrico County). If you want it, let me know and come on and GIT IT!

I dug out the engine and remembered that I had a tub full of spare parts. Two carburetors, some ignition parts, the starter, alternator, exhaust manifold, etc. It's all there, and a few extras.
