Globe Impellers?
Anybody have any experience with using Globe Composite Solutions impellers? They claim they're self-lubricating and can run dry for up to 15 minutes w/o damage. Given that, on a raw water cooled engine you want to shut off the raw water seacock until the engine's running, if it doesn't start right up, to avoid getting water in the engine, this seems like an advantage.
Anybody know which would be the proper part number for the Oberdorfer on the A4? Globe lists six different part numbers for Oberdorfer pumps. I see a "202M" on the PDF for Oberdorfer pumps, but no "202M7." Thanks, Jim |

Check the oberdorfer site. They list # 6593 impeller for the 202m 202m3 and the 202m7. So maybe the globe # fits all three? Dan
