Mounting lag bolts?

I am soon to mount my replacement A4 in my Tartan 34C (rigid mount) and I need to replace 2 of the lag bolts the stick up from the engine bed. They are bronze with about an 1 and 1/8 machine thread and 2 inches of wood screw thread. 1 inch unthreaded area between the 2 different threads. 3/8 diameter. 4 inch overall length. Does anyone know of a supplier for these? Any help is appreciated. Grant.

Hanger bolts

When I built a new engine bed on our Tartan 34C, I was unable to find an exact match to the lag bolts I removed. The bolts that were the closest match were:

Hamilton Marine Hanger bolt BRZ .38 x 4.00. Mfg #112477
Jamestown Distributors Hanger bolt Sil Bronze 3/8 x 5 # FSBHB38x5

My recollection is that the unthreaded sections were less than 1".

I hope this is of some help.

Best regards,

Jack

Jack, Thank You. I will get in touch with them Tuesday. Azazzera, I will take a look there. Thanks also. My engine beds seem good and solid, but whoever removed the old engine bent the studs, so I want to replace them. ____Grant.

You may want to stick a piece of dowel in the hole for the lag. It will help it not to strip. All mine stripped on my T34.
