Hello all. We just picked up a '75 S2 26 Mid (Last serial number before the change to 8.0 C) with a supposedly rebuilt A4. The engine is installed with no fuel or water connections so may have never been started.
The boat is a project requiring a lot of work below decks and all new sails, running, and standing rigging. As my neighbor says, she has good bones.
We are working to see if the engine runs to give us an idea of what we have.
I've been reading this forum for a few hours and really appreciate the time and effort folks put into the responses.
