2:1 Reduction Gear - swap for 1:1

If you want a 2:1 reduction gear for your Atomic 4, this is a rare opportunity. I purchased an engine that came with 2:1 reduction, and I'd like to change over to 1:1. In exchange for the reverse cluster and reduction gear in the photos, I'm looking for a reverse cluster from a 1:1 engine with the rear transmission flange and the bolting flange for the shaft coupling. Note that the reduction gear has a 4 hole output flange, while I expect a standard 3 hole output flange. Not shown in the photos: the pilot bearing for the crankshaft is not included, but the 6 socket head cap screws to attach the reduction gear to the transmission case are included. The gaskets for the reduction gear case and the case to transmission housing are not included.

I would prefer not to have to build a box for shipping this thing. Hopefully someone withing driving distance of SE CT is interested and we could meet halfway with the respective hardware.
I would also prefer a reversing assembly that is currently available, rather than having to wait for the end of the sailing season and subsequent hardware availability.
So, the proposal is on the table. I'm open to offers. Any interest? Please PM me at this site, or e-mail me directly at aeschober at snet dot net.

Steve,

If Al doesn't have his, I have one that I would be willing to swap.

I'd like to take you up on this. Right now, I am tied up with flooding issues at the new homestead. What is you timeframe? Where is your boat? Can you wait a month or so?

Steve,

I am in no hurry. My 2:1 reduction gear is in my garage (in Michigan). Contact me when you are ready.
