Facet fuel pump/oil pressure switch location

I'm helping a friend update her A4 and the recommended location for the oil pressure switch has the head of the bolt broken off. The only way to remove it is by pulling the engine out of the boat for better access. Is it not possible to tee off the oil pressure gauge sensor and install it there?

You can easily mount to a bulkhead and connect with good hoses. This type of mounting often make servicing much easier. You can mount the pump, OPS, polishing filter and a pressure gage (well worth the $15~20) for future diagnostics. Actually a good idea in many cases.

It is, but it leaves a lot of weight (the big oil pressure sensor) cantilevered out pretty far, making it too easy to accidentally break off the fitting by impact or vibration. A better way is to install a barb in place of the fitting, and use a properly rated hose to extend it out to a bulkhead or other secure location, where you can mount things securely.
