A few years back I bought a C&C 27, unfortunately, I never factored in the cost of operating such a big boat on Long Island, NY. I am looking to downgrade, and the engine and all the parts I have collected are available for sale.
Would love to sell them together.
When I bought the boat, the previous owner said the engine ran, but it "ran rough". Then they tried to remove it, and the "mechanic" just cut every wire and then gave up trying to get it out.
I was able to get it out, but never had the time to repair the wiring. The spark plugs look worn and probably contributed to a lot of the rough running. The exhaust side of the engine had a lot of corrosion.
I can take more pictures if anyone would like more information. A mechanic friend of my own will be examining the engine next week.
Any fair offer will be accepted.
More pictures and some more parts can be seen at: https://www.tumblr.com/blog/islandlife77
Thanks!
