Memorial Day
Just a short note to pay respects to Veterans young and old, past and present...and those that will be forever young. The freedoms that we enjoy came at a price and every soldier, airman, and sailor gave. Tipping a glass of rum to all

It turns out the guy that bought the boat two slips from me was a three tour veteran of Vietnam. Met him for the first time today, and I said "thank you, sir."
Thank you to all Veterans.

Sorry guys...I am a little late with this post but thought it still worth putting up;
This is Memorial Day Weekend in the USA...I'd like to recognize and thank all of my US brothers who fought, died and were wounded both in body and mind; Maj. Bob Mackenzie, Sgt. Hugh McCaul, Tpr Stephen M. Dwyer, Tpr Joseph M. Byrne, Tpr Joseph Battaglia, Tpr John Allen Coey: ...and a legion of others too numerous to mention here from all wars fought by US servicemen and women; "If you are able, save for them a place inside of you and save one backward glance when you are leaving for the places they can no longer go. Be not ashamed to say you loved them, though you may or may not have always. Take what they have taught you with their dying and keep it with your own. And in that time when men decide and feel safe to call the war insane, take one moment to embrace those gentle heroes you left behind."
