Broken S terminal on starter solenoid

    Hey folks,

I recently started the daunting task of removing my water jacket side place and had to remove the starter to get better access to the bolts. In taking the wiring off the solenoid I managed to snap off the S stud terminal that connects to the ignition wire.

Any tips for the best way to repair this? I'm thinking it will have to be drilled out, but figured I'd check to see if you have any tips about how it is secured and how to properly replace before I start hacking away.

The value of the time you'll spend repairing it will exceed the modest cost (in boat terms) of a new replacement.

That's probably sage advice, as always. I'm already putting in an order for a bunch of stuff with Moyer this week related to the water jacket (stud repair kit, gasket), so what's another boat nickel?

Yeah, besides getting the little stud out there's the wiring attached to it on the inside. Looked like an exercise in futility to me.
