Finally got around to finishing the oil level modification to my accessory drive and am putting a new seal in the pulley end of the unit. It's been awhile since I removed that seal and I'm not sure how deep into the casting to set it. It is flush to the casting now but it looks like it's going to be quite a challenge to get the key into the slot for the pully, hence the question. Should it be set deeper and how much?
