ah yes, the rust - this engine was recovered from a shed...
no thermostat leaks.
however, now that leaks are mentioned, i do have a leak in my grease cup - i put some teflon tape on the threads and that helped
the manual mentions a spring check valve. i took mine apart and there is a small brass fitting but no spring that i could see - am i missing a spring?
