Tough—no. Nuts—yes.
I don't have an oil filter on my A-4.

1975 was the last time I ever saw -75 F. It gets to -35 t0 -45F at my house and maybe -55 to-60 occasionally in the low spots.
If you want tough winters, try Wisconsin. Midwesterners come here for the winter.
