Something to keep in mind. Have to be sure it won't blow away. MOB on a nice calm day is one thing....the boat is moving slow, the seas are flat, wind is down. It`s really becomes a problem when waves and swell interfere with spotting the MOB. If we were to throw something in the water and it doesn't remain in a general proximity....you end up chasing a shiny bouy or liferaft...not much good if the MOB can't get to before it's gone.

could you imagine a small blow up life raft thrown of the back of my boat in the video...it would be gone in seconds in that breeze an no swimmer would catch it.
