Yes. I had the old pump with the bad bearings in my spares locker, and wanted to rebuild it before touching, and possibly screwing up, the working (but leaking ) pump. Alas, I couldn't do it and had to bite the bullet and commit to removing and rebuilding the leaking pump. Fortunately. All went well and it's up and running. Now I'm just trying to have a spare ready for next time!

But if it lets me buy a $122 rebuild kit instead of a $315 pump, I'm still ahead of the game! Besides, it's an excuse to buy a new TOOL!
