    Garmin GFS -10

Since I have a Garmin 740 chart plotter sonar unit connected to a NMEA 2000 network, for $150 I can add a fuel flow sensor that will show me the MPG that I am achieving. I am grateful that i am worried about MPG instead of GPM.

Has anyone else done this? May be interesting to see what I can do to get the best fuel economy.

Specs indicate a minimum flow rate of 2 GPH. I doubt an Atomic 4 would draw fuel fast enough for that type of sensor to read accurately. If you do it, please report back as I'd like to know. That said, I don't motor enough to spend the money.

Yes but specs often times don't reflect what reality offers. I was hoping that actual experience would reveal that the flow sensor works with the lower flow rates expected from our atomic 4s. If not, I won't spend the money either. But if nobody has tried it, I think it would be worth the effort and the expense to find out.
