Points to ponder
- Good test on #1 cylinder, now how about #'s 2, 3 & 4?
- Current owner says . . . don't care what the current owner says, let's make sure ourselves. The throttle linkage needs to be checked, especially the outer sheath security.
- Do we know what size prop is installed, diameter and pitch? Direct drive or reduction gear?
- Check the centrifugal advance flyweights for smooth operation to their stops. They are found under the points plate inside the distributor.
