Well, thanks to the generous spirit of the people on this forum and generous acts of kindness (thanks Neil), my ol' Atomic is back in place.There are some remaining tasks to be done. Choke is being held up by a string, as I have not attached the choke and the muffler needs wrapping ( I received a sharp reminder of this when I went to check the over-tightened stuffing box and burned a U shape into my upper arm). Also, muffler needs a proper platform-securing. Anyway, thanks again to this forum (hopefully sometime I will be able to return a kernel or two of knowledge here). I feel empowered with a better understanding of the inner and outer workings of my iron Genoa. Cheers!
