Spent some more time with it this afternoon. Checked compression (with my thumb) seemed like plenty. Gave all cylinders a liberal dose of PB Blaster and MMO and cranked the engine over a few times....

Didn't think about the exhaust. Will definitely take a look at it. Had the choke problem in the past so that was one of the first things I checked.
This problem began at the very end...

Hi All

Have an A4 that starts and will barely run at idle (just chugs) when the throttle is applied she dies. In the last three years new points, plugs , rotor, and cap have been installed as well...

I have owned a 73 C&C 30 Mk1 since 1986. I have been drilling a small drain hole in the rudder every fall at haul out to allow the water to drain and epoxying it closed in the spring prior to launch....

Picked up a #4 screw extractor and a pair of brass nipples at a plumbing supply house. The extractor is pretty good sized and I'm not too concerned about breaking it off. Will hopefully get this done...

Hi All
Climbing into my boat today (with the companion way stairs out) I managed to slip and snap the oil pressure sending unit off flush at the block.
I plan on picking up a set of extractors...
