Spent some more time with it this afternoon....
Spent some more time with it this afternoon. Checked compression (with my thumb) seemed like plenty. Gave all cylinders a liberal dose of PB Blaster and MMO and cranked the engine over a few times....

Didn't think about the exhaust. Will definitely take a look at it. Had the choke problem in the past so that was one of the first things I checked.
This problem began at the very end...

Picked up a #4 screw extractor and a pair of brass nipples at a plumbing supply house. The extractor is pretty good sized and I'm not too concerned about breaking it off. Will hopefully get this done...
