Five drops to a cc (or ml) would mean each drop is 200ul. Pretty big drop.

Yes, you are correct.

After the controller it is 15 Volts x 1 Amp = 15 Watts

My point with the volts observations was that the panel picks up good photon flux even in sub-optimal conditions...

I am a big fan of the cheap auto tach alternative.

The only issue is that the MMI tach has a smaller upper scale (4K rpm) for better resolution (if you need it) compared to 8K for a cheap auto...
