New Indigo Prop

Have installed the new Indigo 7.7 prop. Better performance than the 7.4
I had on for 7 years. Improved push and less vibration. Hull speed at 1500

Busted fuel guage?

To check on fuel level, try using a studsensor???? I use
this to monitor fuel tank and holding tank.....

FWC Heat Exch.

I have one just like yours... You can replace the end cap with a rubber cap. Easy to take off for cleaning. Bit pricey however......

Mechanical oil pressure guage

Don sells a mechanical oil pressure guage that connects directly to the oil pressure port. I wonder if this would give a better reading of oil pressure.
Any one have one installed???????

Has anyone used a voltmeter to test how hot a marina may be?

I'm wondering by grounding the negitive of the meter and dangle over the
side the positive of the meter if this would give a reliable...

over heating

My Atomic 4 running at 1200rpm heats up to 190deprees at 35lbs oil pressure.
When I increase the rpms to to 1800 the temp go to 200-210.
Speed increases as well to 5kts. We have good water flow. ...

Use of ZDDP Motor Oil

Don will the use of ZDDP (zinc) Motor Oil be usefull for the A-4 Engine? It is recommended for flat tappet engines.

Can you explain a little more as to why" the contact is far away from the stuffing box"? My stufffing box and prop shaft ( on the inside) is about 3 inches apart. Thanks Chris
