Proper Torque on plugs

A spark plug that is not properly seated will have less heat transfer to or from the head. A poorly seated plug will run hotter than a properly seated plug. An easy check.

Does your A4 have a reduction gear? If so, that would explain the loss of forward speed with the Indigo prop. It is nowhere near a big enough prop for a reduction gear model.
