Then the CO detector went off, then I discovered the leak.

Thanks Bruce. I got all the pipe at Boone as well, the mixer and flange from Moyer, and the 1-5/8 exhaust hose ordered in by The Chandlery.

It all went together today fairly easily and I'm back in...

I took some pictures of my plugs at the end of last season during decommissioning. I'm wondering if they are trying to tell me anything.

I'll admit I've never taken the distributor cap off since I've owned the boat, but points I think. Got several old sets, and condensers, in the spare tub.

Back from the alternator shop, $100 lighter but with an alternator that now puts out 14.8V and 40A

The in-boat fault of not being able to get >13.5V was confirmed on the big alternator machine....

When iteratively adjusting the forward detente and reversing band tension, can you run the engine to test reverse/neutral with the reversing gear cover off, or does it throw oil everywhere?
