Is the solution simply pressurizing the fuel...

Is the solution simply pressurizing the fuel system (w/ a fuel line bulb pump) to eliminate the cavitation (i.e., air pockets)?

Under tech tips there is a reference to fuel pumps becoming "cavitated." What happens when a fuel pump becomes "cavitated?"
Is it rendered nonfunctional?

For Al: Almost 99.9% sure the inbound/outbound...

For Al:
Almost 99.9% sure the inbound/outbound fuel pump lines did not get switched but that's a good idea & will double check.
Opened gas tank cap and did not notice anything unusual like suction...
