but make sure your bilge pump is working
and know what size is the replacemnt for the packing before engaging this repair
have some packing...

yep i think so.
after overheating issues last year and a wicked ride to winter storage, the oil was thinned (overheating) and low (ring blow by).
the level was replenished but the noise didn't go...
