I dont have a tach installed but I do know it feels way off. Its at full throttle and barley making a wake.

ok all dried off...... the prop has some growth on it for sure. Again it seems to spin okay but does have some mild growth. That cant slow the boat down that much. Can it?
I havent owned the boat...

I have a 77 Cat 27 with A-4 that until now has ran great.
My problem is she doesnt seem to push the ol boat like it used to
She starts right up and purrs like a kitten even when cold. Idles...

engine wont shut off

We just had our A4 completely rebuilt. It starts first crank but wont shutdown when you turn the ignition switch to off. The switch seems fine as the the accessories turn on and off okay.

The gear box on our A4 sometimes sticks and is very difficult to engage.
I heard somewhere that these gear boxes need to be adjusted periodically.
