Get a compression tester, a set of 3/8 drive and 1/4 sae sockets, a multimeter and small vice grips.

Gotta love the A4, took the carb off cleaned it and put it back on, runs like a champ. You donít have to be an expert to work on these engines.

Two things check your choke, mine wouldn't start for two months. Choke was the problem. I really felt stupid. Put MMO in the cylinder, hopefully it will break loose.

Well here is what I found.

The extender I had was pressed on. The sleeve that is used to form a tight fit had worn out. Evidence by the thin metal shavings. Moyer Marine sells a PTO shaft extender that fits behind the flywheel...

I checked the EI switch yesterday and it was working. The ignition would be ruled out I think because I have power to the fuel pump. Should I try to check the ignition wire to the coil?
