Why is flame arrestor so expensive?

Curious as to why the flame arrestor used on Zenith carbs on A4s is so expensive? MM sells the screen only for $75. Seem to be made out of brass or copper so if its not the metal then what?

Thanks Mo. I googled and found a place near by. Called them and they said its a "rebuild" job and quoted about $145. I guess there is more to it than just a rubber seal....:confused:

Thanks Dave for taking the time to watch it. You can hear the most of that sound I was referring to at 50 seconds on the video. The best way I could describe it is wroom wroom. :)
