Keel cooler? What kind of boat is this in? Just guessing: a power boat with a hot stack exhaust..

Sure would love to see a picture of that keel cooler installation.

Sorry I don't have any pictures. The cooler is a Fernstrum unit approximately 20 in. long, 14 in. wide, and 2 in. deep. I cut out a section of hull in the aft stern quarter and glassed in a box so that the cooler is flush with the hull. The seawater intake, which only cools the exhaust from the muffler onward, is mounted behind and in the center of the cooler. This provides water flow over the cooler when the boat is idling.

WA, Any idea on a price? Will you part it out? Assume 1970 = late model?

In addition to the details you are providing about the crank journal, potential buyers always have a much better idea what you are offering up if you can take a few pictures.

            Cheers and good luck.
