They all were telling me where to buy another engine, how I could take this one out and who could put it in and all that kind of thing. Last week I took her out for the first time when many of the other boat owners were around. I made sure it was sounding good and crossed my fingers it would not embarrass me and stall on the way out or crash into someone’s boat. It moved out like a soft breeze and handled so well, I was blown away. She looked good, so good all eyes were upon her as I passed the marina a few times before I took her for a long test. What can I say that you haven’t heard already. This little engine is a monster. Kind of reminds me of the little pink energize bunny that can’t stop running and hitting that drum, or that watch, that takes a licking and keeps on ticking. Maybe some of you younger folk don’t remember that last one. It was when Geritol was around. I believe it was a sponsor for the Laurence Welk Show.

Hi, I new here and would like to ask a question regarding my A4. First thing I was to hand crank the A4, it was a little tight put in did move. Then I pored marble mytery oil in all cld's.sit for 3 weeks, did the hand crank again, very smooth. I checked the dip stick and it looked like water inside the engine. I opened the drain plug and to my surprise, maybe 4 to 5 qt's of fresh water came out no oil. Then I put in appox'l 4 qut's oil new oil. Then with the starter, cranked the engine and that was smooth as well. That's all I have done so far. When the clear fresh water came out of the engine I noticed no pink marble mastery oil was in the water. I thought that maybe good. Now I'm going to get a compression tester and see if the cyl's have any compression. I guess my question is, I'm I just spinning my wheels here and need a new engine or can this engine still have hope it may work? I have heard so many stories about how tough these A4 are, but I just don't know.
