Hello, new boat owner and I have committed my first rookie mistake. Left the head lever in the seaward position and it ended up flooding my bilge, where my Atomic 4 engine is. I am fortunate to have a friend who is teaching me to sail this beast, assist me. We removed the carb and cleaned it out and then we pumped out 7 litres of water from the engine oil resevior without a hint of oil in it! We finally got to the oil and extracted all that we could, even removed the trans plate to get at oil/water there. We put her back together and she fired up without a problem, however, engine oil turned milky. We removed milky oil and added a minimum amount and fired it up two or three more times. Do I need to keep replacing the oil until I get no sign of water or is there another product that I can add to evacuate the remaining water? I cant get MMO because I live north of the 49th, imput please and be gentle....
