    Hi,

I noticed your post about your Columbia 36 and would love to check out your modifications, like the engine hatch doors.

I became the excited new owner of a 1969 Columbia 36 that I am rehabbing. It's in far worse shape than I thought it was. Ha Ha. You never know until you start cleaning up and thoroughly checking things out.

Hey Russ. I hope this finds you well. What do you mean by elevation problemsin (a post from 2011): "I moved my heat ex away from the original position to make it easier to work on the carburator. It has worked fine. I see no problem with a bit longer run as long as you pay attention to not getting high spots, bubbles or introducing elevation problems."
I have planned to put the HX above the engine in the lazarette opening.

Lat 64, I also have a 68 Columbia 36 and are planning on installing a rebuilt from MMI, a few questions i have I think you could answer like did you do your swap yourself, and if so how did you get the engine out. I'm thinking i will have to go thru the lazerate to get the reduction gear disconnected and re-installed, any comments would be helpful

P.S. I'm in San Diego on a Mooring Ball.

Russ - The wire from that O2 sensor goes to the Cyberdyne gauge shown in picture #21, lower left. I use the information to adjust the main jet. Hanley
