My A4 does not start. That's is nothing new, I assume it's the coil. BUT this is new( to me): as soon as I turn the key and try to start (the starter turns nicely) the oil pressure kicks up to 80 PSI plus. Anyone has seen that? Is this an electric problem (short maybe?) or what could cause this? What would be the shortest route of investigation?

I am adding a solar panel to charge my batteries. Between house and starter batteriesthere is a battery combiner intsalled which opens at 13V, I am not sure if the solar panel should charge when the alternator (engine) is running as well and thought I should install a relais/solenoid switch in the solar panel plus wire that disconnects when the engine comes on and connects when the engine shuts down (normally closed circuit). Has anyone done this or has gained more experience with the dual charging process than I posses? Thanks for any input and/or ideas annd comments
